TL;DR
Key Account Manager (Fintech): Managing a portfolio of high-value accounts to drive retention, increase Gross Payment Volume (GPV), and expand customer value through consultative partnerships. Location: Hybrid; Must be based in Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, or Kitchener-Waterloo (requires office attendance at least 1 day per week).
Salary: $60,000 base + $40,000 uncapped commission ($100,000 OTE)

What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of ~300 high-value accounts focused on retention and GPV growth.
- Build deep, consultative relationships as a strategic partner to maximize client ROI.
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions to optimize product usage.
- Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with product, risk, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Develop best practices for the Key Account Management department and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in B2B software account management or sales.
- Track record of exceeding revenue targets (100%+) for the last 6+ months.
- Must be based in Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton, or Kitchener-Waterloo.
- Proficiency with the Challenger sales methodology.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
