What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive residential energy assessments in single-family and manufactured homes.
• Install energy-saving measures such as LED lamps and smart power strips.
• Collect and document detailed data on appliances, HVAC equipment, and building envelopes using program software.
• Educate homeowners on energy efficiency and recommend actionable next steps for upgrades.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams and participate in field inspections.
• Attend community events and trade shows to promote energy efficiency programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb ladders, and perform field-based installation tasks.
• Must be based in the Tempe, AZ area for local travel.
• Understanding of building science or construction background is preferred.

Nice to have

• Certified RESNET HERS Rater, HESP, or BPI Building Analyst certification.
• Experience with energy modeling software.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
