What you will do
- Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of transmission and distribution capital projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls activities.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to achieve objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and project partners.
- Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Shreveport, LA.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience managing utility capital projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering electric transmission and distribution projects.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Central Louisiana.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, contract administration, and cost management.
Nice to have
- MBA degree.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with transmission lines, substations, and distribution infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, SAP, Maximo, or Power BI.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
