Customer Reliability Engineer (Mechanical Engineering)

What you will do

• Perform independent seal and equipment evaluations and recommendations on-site at customer facilities.
• Proactively review customer applications to provide specific recommendations for MTBR improvement.
• Direct the installation and commissioning of mechanical seals and their auxiliary support systems.
• Collect and evaluate customer data using reliability management software such as ServiceMax.
• Provide technical training for customer maintenance and operations personnel.
• Assist customers with the Management of Change process and collect equipment data sheets.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or high school diploma.
• Experience with mechanical seals, rotating equipment, and basic engineering principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of machining practices.
• Previous participation in continuous improvement activities including Kaizen, SMED, and Lean.
• Willing and able to travel as needed to support assignments.
