TL;DR

What you will do

  • Provide enterprise-level administration and support for macOS and Windows, including imaging, deployment, and configuration management.
  • Utilize endpoint management platforms such as Ivanti, KACE, Microsoft Intune, and JAMF to deploy software and enforce policies.
  • Manage and troubleshoot identity and access services using Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory and AWS-integrated solutions.
  • Diagnose authentication, connectivity, and performance issues by analyzing system logs and monitoring tools.
  • Implement Zero Trust security principles to ensure all endpoints and users meet organizational compliance standards.
  • Document technical procedures and mentor Level I technicians to enhance overall Service Desk capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in operational support and enterprise system administration.
  • Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid environment management, specifically AWS-hosted resources.
  • Must be available to work in Washington, DC during normal business hours (8:30am to 5:00pm).

Nice to have

  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate.
  • Apple Certified IT Professional.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher.
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management certification.
  • Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate.
