What you will do

• Provide contractual support for OEM business teams in the US and UK, including bid strategies and risk minimization.
• Manage potential customer disputes and execute strategies for ambiguous, high-pressure situations.
• Develop and oversee contracting and operational regulatory compliance policies for global subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with Law, Trade Compliance, and Tax departments on international transactions including VAT, INCOTERMS, and export/import compliance.
• Train program management on commercial terms, change management, and contract drafting.
• Perform due diligence for acquisitions related to contracting and export compliance.

Requirements

• Master's degree or JD with 10+ years of contract-related experience.
• Minimum 12 years of advanced contracts experience including negotiating and legal drafting.
• Extensive international experience required (preference for China, EU, and Brazil).
• Deep understanding of UCC and international transactional principles such as export licensing, VAT, and tariffs.
• Experience defending against customer claims and preparing counterclaims.
• Must be able to access U.S. export-controlled information.
