Senior Project Manager (Data Centre)

Location: Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom; 5 days on site per week

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of several phases of a data centre campus with support from the Project Director and management partners.
• Administer building contracts, manage changes, and support procurement and commercial strategies.
• Oversee commercial and risk management activities, including monthly client reporting.
• Manage client relationships, design teams, contractors, and the day-to-day work of 1–2 project staff.
• Support data centre business development, fee proposals, and responses to requests for proposals.
• Maintain environmental, health, safety, security, quality, and procedural standards.

Requirements

• Senior Project Manager experience with substantial on-site experience.
• Essential experience in the data centre or mission-critical sector.
• Experience managing data centre projects through design, tender, and construction stages.
• Experience with data centre MEP, fit-out, and testing and commissioning activities.
• Contract administration or Employer’s Agent experience, including a strong understanding of building contracts.
• Chartered professional qualification such as MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM, or ChPP, plus a construction-related degree or equivalent qualification.

Nice to have

• Wide-ranging technical delivery experience gained in a consultancy environment.
• Experience developing client pipelines and supporting commercial proposals.
