What you will do
- Administer and support Active Directory across multiple regional domains, including directory hygiene and security baseline alignment.
- Support Entra ID / hybrid identity integrations and related Microsoft platform dependencies.
- Create, review, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs); manage AD operations and cleanup, including domain controller/DNS/DHCP-related changes.
- Handle incidents, escalations, requests, and changes for MDS-owned platforms; coordinate with global Ops, Server, Security, and EUC teams.
- Contribute to identity governance, authentication modernisation, lifecycle management, and collaboration/email security projects.
- Improve reliability and resilience by supporting automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code where appropriate, plus knowledge sharing and documentation.
Requirements
- Location: Must be UK-based (London, GB).
- 5+ years of hands-on Active Directory administration in an enterprise environment (preferably 10+ years).
- Working knowledge of Entra ID and O365, including hybrid identity concepts.
- Working knowledge of Okta administration (SSO, MFA, and identity troubleshooting).
- Understanding of user lifecycle, directory hygiene, access controls, and privileged account management.
- Experience with operational support (incidents/changes) and structured stakeholder communication and documentation.
