TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Liverpool, UK (On-site)

Salary: Up to £31,000 DOE

What you will do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues and security incidents, aiming for first-time resolution.
  • Provide deskside and remote support to the business user base while adhering to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Manage service desk tickets and escalate complex issues to 3rd line infrastructure or application support teams.
  • Administer Active Directory and manage VOIP/digital phone systems.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform system check processes.
  • Assist in software distribution, patch management, and security compliance tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in Liverpool City Centre.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK with at least one year remaining on a visa (no sponsorship provided).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a support role within a managed IT service desk function.
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Office365 support.
  • Understanding of ITIL service management models and security principles.
  • Ability to work a 3-week rolling rota including 1 in 8 Saturdays.

Nice to have

  • CompTIA or other role-appropriate certifications.
  • Experience with server, virtualization, and cloud solutions.
  • Previous exposure to the legal or insurance industry.
