What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the enterprise risk management framework and risk register.
• Monitor regulatory developments including GDPR, NIS2, and ISO standards to provide actionable guidance.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Product, and IT teams to embed risk awareness and compliance culture.
• Plan and execute internal audits and compliance reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
• Support data privacy initiatives, including DPIAs, vendor due diligence, and breach management.
• Develop clear, engaging policies and provide in-house compliance training for the business.

Requirements

• University or applied sciences diploma required.
• 6+ years of experience in risk, compliance, or internal audit, ideally in a fast-growing tech or SaaS environment.
• Solid working knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to non-experts.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving.

• Experience with NIS2 regulatory requirements.
