What you will do

• Automate provisioning processes for user intake, workspace creation, and core data access.
• Lead migration efforts from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based environments.
• Configure Databricks workspaces, including Service Principals, access controls, and security configurations.
• Manage integrations between Databricks and the VHA Data Lake, including mount points and linked services.
• Develop and maintain Databricks catalogs to support data discovery and governance.
• Provide technical support and documentation for network designs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of experience in Information Technology or Engineering
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with cloud identity and access management (IAM) and RBAC
• Strong documentation practices for SOPs and access models

Nice to have

• Expertise with Azure cloud platforms
• Databricks Certified or Azure Data Engineer certifications
• Experience with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or Python for automation
• Knowledge of Delta Lake or similar structured storage solutions
• Experience supporting public sector or healthcare data environments
