What you will do
- Own the end-to-end enterprise data governance framework, including policies and standards.
- Monitor and provide enterprise-level transparency of data governance outcomes and risk positions to ExCo and board committees.
- Lead governance forums and oversight mechanisms to track performance and escalate issues across business areas.
- Act as an integrator across Asset Management, Life, and Corporate functions to align data priorities.
- Facilitate and execute cross-business trade-offs to maintain consistent enterprise outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of the data control environment by updating behaviors, processes, and tooling.
Requirements
- Deep experience leading enterprise data governance, data risk, or control environments in a regulated financial services context.
- Proven track record of improving enterprise outcomes through influencing federated teams without direct line control.
- Strong commercial judgment to balance risk, cost, and value in complex environments.
- Highly effective collaborator able to build alignment across business and functional leadership.
- Credibility and judgment to facilitate and escalate decisions when delivery is off track.
