Regional Sales Engineer - AIDR (AI Security)

Location: Tokyo and suburbs (Territory: Japan). Travel requirement: 60/40.

What you will do

• Advise customers throughout the sales cycle by demonstrating how AI can be monitored and secured.
• Deliver product demonstrations and answer technical questions during early customer engagements.
• Support customers during proof-of-concept projects to ensure measurable value.
• Document customer use cases and contribute to blog posts, product guides, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with a global remote-first team and occasionally support customers across time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or equivalent technical roles in cybersecurity.
• AI & LLM knowledge, including foundation models, common model vendors, and business use cases; familiarity with agents, RAG, MCP, and agentic AI tools.
• AI security knowledge, including prompt injection, sensitive information disclosure (PII leakage), and data & model poisoning; familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and MITRE ATLAS.
• Programming & API integration experience: APIs, HTTP request/response, token-based authentication; ability to build scripts/integrations with REST APIs in Python, Node.js, or another supported language.
• Fluent Japanese and business/conversational English.
• Experience working in distributed, remote-first environments.
