TL;DR
Fullstack Software Engineer (React/Node.js): Building and optimizing high-load digital investment platforms with an accent on headless content architecture, deep personalization, and seamless cross-channel client experiences. Focus on developing scalable AWS cloud-native applications, implementing infrastructure as code, and ensuring high performance and security in a cross-functional team.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Bristol, UK (Hybrid working available).

What you will do
- Build and maintain AWS cloud-native applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS services.
- Implement automated testing (Jest, Playwright) and maintain high code quality standards.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to deliver personalized digital client journeys.
- Advocate for continuous improvement in CI/CD processes, security, and performance.
- Provide engineering support and mentor peers to foster technical growth.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
- Strong experience in developing and maintaining client and server-side applications.
- Proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms and infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of microservices, RESTful API development, and DevOps culture.
- Experience with debugging production issues and working within an Agile framework.
Nice to have
- Experience with Headless CMS solutions like Contentful.
- Knowledge of Jamstack architectural approaches.
- Experience implementing MarTech solutions (Analytics, A/B testing, Tag Management).
- Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems.
