TL;DR

Account Manager (SMB): Managing and growing a book of business within the SMB segment with an accent on retention, expansion revenue, and consultative sales. Focus on executing the full sales cycle, managing high-volume renewals, and driving customer outcomes through strategic engagement.

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX and able to work in office 3 days per week

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Manage the entire sales process from initial conversation to close for a book of ~300 SMB accounts.
  • Negotiate high-volume renewals and identify expansion opportunities to meet monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Conduct 5+ meetings per day, including demos, pricing calls, and customer escalations.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene and provide accurate pipeline forecasting within a 10% margin.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to identify customer challenges and articulate platform value.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing a large book of accounts within the SMB segment.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting targets for at least 3 trailing quarters.
  • Must be willing to be in office 3 days per week in Austin.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and experience with the full sales cycle.
  • Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at the Director level and above.
  • Adaptability to learn new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
