Location: Must be based in Vancouver, Canada. This role is hybrid, requiring onsite attendance at the Vancouver office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Salary: CAD 148,000–222,000 per year.

What you will do

• Collaborate with global engineering teams to define and execute technical requirements and architectural workflows.
• Design and implement backend components for Kubernetes platforms optimizing GPU and CPU workload footprints.
• Utilize declarative GitOps workflows and GitHub Actions pipelines for platform automation.
• Author comprehensive technical documentation, architecture specifications, and design blueprints.
• Practice structured agile ceremonies and participate in cross-functional code reviews.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in backend systems architecture and design.
• Strong technical proficiency in Kubernetes internals and cluster management.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, Docker, and Helm chart architecture.
• Proven proficiency in Golang or Python.
• Experience with GitOps synchronization and declarative infrastructure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multi-timezone, matrixed engineering setups.
