Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Mossville, IL and Washington, IL, USA (5 days a week).

Salary: $89,210 - $133,810

What you will do

• Operate hirify.global equipment to challenge drivetrain systems and develop robust calibration solutions.
• Plan and execute on-machine tests to optimize transmission control systems in field environments.
• Support control software calibration, component inspections, and instrumentation setup.
• Analyze test data to evaluate system performance and support root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with design, systems integration, and software engineers to optimize hardware and controls.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods and validation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer, or Ag Engineering).
• Experience with powershift transmission, torque converter, drivetrain, or engine development.
• Proficiency in control system software development, calibration, or data acquisition tools.
• Ability to interpret test data to support engineering recommendations.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Mossville/Washington, IL.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Sponsorship is not available).
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience with DATK, ATI Vision, or CANape.
• Understanding of control systems theory.
• Experience with FMEA, DVP&R, or proactive reliability processes.
