Program Manager (AI): Managing the operational framework of Anthropic's Responsible Scaling Policy (RSP) with an accent on cross-functional coordination between research, security, and legal teams. Location: Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY (Hybrid: 25% in-office requirement)
Salary: $190,000 - $235,000 USD

What you will do
- Maintain the source-of-truth tracking for all model RSP obligations and safety milestones.
- Project-manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Risk and Capability Reports, including evaluations and reviews.
- Coordinate cross-functional readiness checks across Safeguards, Security, and Legal teams.
- Manage the RSP commitments tracker and ensure all public and internal milestones are met.
- Represent the RSP program in launch readiness forums and system card reviews.
- Facilitate RSP version updates through internal governance and Board approval processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in high-stakes compliance, governance, or regulatory operations.
- Proven ability to act as the connective tissue between technical, security, legal, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills for creating decision memos and status updates for senior leadership.
- Demonstrated record of building tracking systems for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to maintain sound judgment and process integrity under tight launch timelines.
- Genuine investment in AI safety and the mission to build beneficial AI systems.
Nice to have
- Existing context on RSP, model launch processes, or safety-related teams (Safeguards, Security, Alignment).
- Experience preparing materials for Boards, regulators, or external auditors.
