Salary: $103,000–$131,000 Annual

What you will do

• Culture and characterize primary cells and mammalian cell lines for in vitro/ex vivo assays.
• Develop, optimize, and execute assay cascades to assess compound activity, efficacy, and selectivity.
• Perform neutrophil functional assays and flow cytometry-based characterization.
• Partner with computational scientists to implement AI-driven imaging and quantitative analysis workflows.
• Execute mechanism-of-action studies using gene expression profiling and protein-based analytical platforms.
• Support downstream analysis of in vivo studies including sample processing and data visualization.

Requirements

• PhD with 2 years of experience or MS with 7 years of experience in immunology, molecular/cellular biology, or related field.
• Proven expertise in innate immunity and neutrophil biology is required.
• Hands-on experience in primary and mammalian cell culture and standard molecular/cellular biology techniques.
• Expertise in imaging techniques including fluorescence and confocal microscopy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be able to work full-time, in-person in Bridgewater, NJ.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with respiratory, immune-mediated, or autoimmune disease areas.
• Experience conducting NET formation assays in primary cells.
• External recognition of writing and presentation skills.
