What you will do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR matters, performance management, and compensation.
  • Advise leadership on organizational design and employee engagement strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement solutions for employee relations issues while ensuring strict compliance with legal requirements.
  • Analyze HR data to provide insights on performance, retention, and salary adjustments.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and manage immigration-related documentation.
  • Maintain confidential employee records in the HRIS system and ensure data privacy compliance.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Los Angeles, CA
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Extensive knowledge of California, federal, and local employment laws (ADA, FLSA, EEOC, Title VII).
  • Proficiency with HRIS (e.g., Workday, Oracle) and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Employer does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.

Nice to have

  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
