What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets and internally developed software, including capitalization, depreciation, and impairments.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Monitor capital project activity and collaborate with project managers to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
• Review project costs, labor capitalization, and contractor expenses for policy compliance.
• Prepare fixed asset rollforwards, depreciation analyses, and supporting documentation for audits.
• Partner with global accounting teams to ensure consistency across multiple business entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with focus on fixed assets, capital projects, or software capitalization.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in or able to work from Reno or Las Vegas, NV.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or BlackLine.
• Background in large, multi-entity or global organizations.
