What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent UK payrolls for a diverse customer portfolio.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing consultative advice on UK legislation, statutory payments, and payroll best practices.
• Manage complex calculations including salary sacrifice, benefits in kind, and equity compensation.
• Reconcile HMRC liabilities and ensure accurate FPS/EPS submissions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge management initiatives.

Requirements

• Must have extensive experience in a UK payroll bureau or outsourced environment.
• Expert knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, National Insurance, and HMRC compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex payrolls for medium to enterprise-sized organizations.
• Experience with pension schemes, benefits in kind, and equity compensation taxation.
• Strong analytical skills for reconciling liabilities and diagnosing payroll discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical payroll concepts to non-payroll stakeholders.

• CIPP Qualification.
