What you will do

• Own the development, maintenance, and version control of all technical documentation for on-site operations.
• Translate complex engineering and operational information into clear, structured documentation for staff and leadership.
• Establish and enforce a documentation governance framework, including approval workflows and archival protocols.
• Maintain a centralized documentation library, ensuring all documents are indexed and accessible.
• Track documentation gaps and proactively flag outdated or missing information across active sites.
• Develop onboarding documentation for new on-site staff and vendors to ensure operational standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 4+ years of technical writing experience in a datacenter, infrastructure, or hardware-intensive environment.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured documentation.
• Experience owning a documentation library end-to-end, including governance and version control.
• Proficiency with documentation tooling such as Confluence, Notion, or SharePoint.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to extract and validate process information.
