Location: Must be a US citizen and reside within 30 miles of the Madison, WI office for a hybrid schedule (24 hours in-office per week).

Salary: $70,000–$80,000

What you will do

• Create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and technical manuals.
• Validate and refine AI-generated drafts to ensure accuracy and proper structure.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and product owners to gather technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain AI-assisted documentation workflows, including prompt templates and review standards.
• Manage the Knowledge Management process for IT Delivery teams.
• Ensure documentation is optimized for both human readers and downstream AI systems.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen to obtain required security clearance.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical writing, business analysis, or quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with AI writing or content generation tools.
• Proficiency in Markdown and familiarity with GitLab for version control.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira).
• Background in API documentation or web development.
• Advanced experience applying AI workflows to technical content production.
