What you will do

• Build and scale distributed systems to power real-time game moderation at massive scale.
• Develop innovative detection approaches to identify and mitigate problematic content and behavior.
• Lead technical direction by tackling the most complex engineering challenges and mentoring team members.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Moderation Operations to deliver end-to-end safety products.
• Optimize backend services and ML pipelines to ensure system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping high-scale backend systems to production.
• 6+ years of experience working on multi-person codebases.
• Strong focus on end-to-end product delivery from ideation to implementation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Must have existing United States work authorization (no H-1B sponsorship support).

Nice to have

• Experience with machine learning and AI-powered detection systems.
• Background in open-source or personal project development.
