TL;DR

Major Account Director (Cybersecurity): Driving revenue growth and expanding market presence in the DACH region by engaging senior decision-makers in Information Security and Risk teams. Focus on consultative selling of complex enterprise solutions, managing multi-year contracts, and building long-term strategic relationships within the cybersecurity landscape.

Location: Must be based in the DACH territory (Germany, Austria, or Switzerland) with 30-40% travel required.

Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 (base plus bonus).

What you will do

  • Prospect and engage with senior decision-makers in Information Security and Risk functions.
  • Drive revenue growth through a consultative sales approach and close 6-figure, multi-year contracts.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline using Salesforce and Clari, ensuring accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Solutions Architects, and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to account planning and relationship management.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the DACH territory.
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise software sales with a focus on new customer acquisition.
  • Proven track record of consistent over-attainment of $1M+ annual recurring revenue quotas.
  • Strong network of established relationships with key industry contacts in the DACH region.
  • Previous experience in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
