Sr. Credit Analyst (Finance)

Salary: $72,000 - $95,800 USD per annum

What you will do

• Evaluate customer credit applications, financial statements, and trade references to establish credit limits and terms.
• Utilize the D&B Finance & Analytics platform to interpret data and assess ongoing credit risk exposure.
• Manage collections activities and analyze aging reports to prioritize efforts on delinquent accounts.
• Work directly with customers to resolve billing disputes, payment discrepancies, and deduction issues.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to protect financial interests while maintaining client relationships.
• Support month-end closing activities, bad debt reserve analysis, and audit requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and reporting tools.
• Experience working in a Multi-ERP environment (Peoplesoft, Netsuite, Salesforce).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Florham Park, NJ.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Waste Management business.
• Experience in B2B collections and corporate credit management.
• Knowledge of lien rights, bankruptcy processes, and collection regulations.
• Professional certification such as CBA, CBF, or NACM coursework.
