What you will do

• Lead simulation activities for crankshafts, camshafts, connecting rods, and bearings across supported platforms.
• Partner with design, test, and platform teams to deliver high-quality durability and performance assessments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using MBD and FEA to support root cause analysis for development and field concerns.
• Improve simulation standard work, including model setup, correlation, and result interpretation.
• Communicate technical results and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to other engineers through reviews and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Expertise in MBD tools such as RUMBLE/BEAR, Abaqus, and AVL EXCITE.
• Strong technical knowledge of rotating component simulations and engine systems.
• Must be able to work onsite five days a week in Mossville, Illinois.
