What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and manage applications that enhance IT infrastructure.
• Integrate third-party components and build custom software capabilities.
• Improve existing code and automate operations and maintenance tasks.
• Design, build, and deploy applications under the guidance of lead architects.
• Support advanced analytics, statistical modeling, large-scale data processing, and computational solutions.
• Participate in SDLC activities, code architecture sessions, milestone reviews, and technical estimations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, and systems integration.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or an equivalent programming language.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, AWS, REST APIs, microservices, GitLab CI/CD, PostgreSQL, Redis, PKI/SSL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and Keycloak.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, version control, testing frameworks, scalable application design, security, and reliability.
• Active Top Secret security clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Government or Department of Defense application development experience.
• Experience with cloud environments, big data technologies, or containerization tools.
• Knowledge of automation tools, DevOps practices, system integration, and performance optimization.
