Location: San Francisco, CA; on-site. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not currently available.
Salary: $235,000β$260,000 per year, plus competitive equity.

builds AI infrastructure that converts web pages into clean, LLM-ready markdown or structured data through an API.
What you will do
- Own the main open source repository end to end, including issue triage, pull request reviews, releases, and documentation.
- Improve the self-hosting experience so the repository is easy to clone, run, and maintain.
- Build new context primitives, starting with anydoc, the document parsing engine.
- Define scope and API design for reusable primitives.
- Ship code and review pull requests every week while helping open source projects gain adoption.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- A track record of maintaining a popular open source repository or making significant contributions to one.
- Experience owning a repository end to end, from issue triage and pull request reviews to releases and documentation.
- Experience building parsers, crawlers, browser tooling, or developer libraries.
- Strong judgment around scope, API design, and open source adoption.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available at present.
Nice to have
- Experience as a maintainer, ex-founder, early startup engineer, or builder with impressive public work.
