TL;DR

Location: Remote, must be based in the United States, with occasional travel to Boston, MA for onboarding and team meetings.
Salary: $155,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do
- Drive the technical design process and make data-driven decisions for platform enhancements.
- Develop and deliver features for the cloud platform and web applications using Java and React.
- Architect and maintain scalable data services and APIs.
- Manage cloud infrastructure deployment using AWS and Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure healthcare security standards and maintain comprehensive test coverage.
- Mentor junior engineers to foster a high-quality engineering culture.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 8-10 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and modern web frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DataDog, or Kafka.
- Proven track record of deploying full-stack applications to AWS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences.
- Experience with Groovy and Micronaut.
- Experience using test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or Cucumber.
