Senior Solutions Engineer (APIs)

Location: Hybrid, based in one of hirify.global’s Canadian hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.

Salary: $125,800–$170,100 CAD annual base salary, plus equity rewards, health and wellness stipends, retirement savings matching, and extended health benefits.

What you will do

• Design and implement integration strategies for hirify.global’s application marketplace.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Product, Design, and external partner teams to define and deliver integration solutions.
• Design and optimize REST and GraphQL API solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to partners throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, reusable solutions, and consistent engineering practices.
• Mentor team members and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in solutions engineering or a similar role.
• Experience developing and managing application marketplaces.
• Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience developing scalable, robust software across multiple technology layers.
• Expertise in software design, architecture, coding, maintainability, and performance.
• Leadership, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with React, React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL API layers, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.

Hiring process

• 45-minute Talent team interview.
• 60-minute Hiring Manager interview, followed by a take-home challenge and 90-minute Functional interview.
• 30-minute Senior Leadership interview.
