TL;DR
Senior Solutions Engineer (SaaS): Designing and implementing integration strategies and API solutions to expand the app marketplace with an accent on REST and GraphQL APIs. Focus on bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders and building scalable software for external partners.
Location: Hybrid in Canada (Must be based in Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo)
Salary: $125,800 – $170,100

What you will do
- Design and propose integration solutions for the app marketplace in collaboration with external third parties and internal teams.
- Develop and optimize API solutions using REST and GraphQL to enhance marketplace offerings.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between external partners and internal engineering, product, and design teams.
- Collaborate on the strategic product roadmap to deliver high-impact features for customers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to both external partners and internal team members.
- Champion the development of reusable code and consistent engineering practices to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a solutions engineering or similar technical role.
- Proven expertise in application marketplace development and management.
- Strong knowledge of API technologies, specifically REST and GraphQL.
- Demonstrated ability to develop highly scalable, robust software across multiple layers of the technology stack.
- Must be based in one of the hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with the stack: React, React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.
