Salary: $125,800 – $170,100

What you will do

• Design and propose integration solutions for the app marketplace in collaboration with external third parties and internal teams.
• Develop and optimize API solutions using REST and GraphQL to enhance marketplace offerings.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between external partners and internal engineering, product, and design teams.
• Collaborate on the strategic product roadmap to deliver high-impact features for customers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to both external partners and internal team members.
• Champion the development of reusable code and consistent engineering practices to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a solutions engineering or similar technical role.
• Proven expertise in application marketplace development and management.
• Strong knowledge of API technologies, specifically REST and GraphQL.
• Demonstrated ability to develop highly scalable, robust software across multiple layers of the technology stack.
• Must be based in one of the hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with the hirify.global stack: React, React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.
