TL;DR

Salesforce Quote-to-Cash Architect (Salesforce CPQ/Billing): Designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions across CPQ, Billing, Revenue, and adjacent business systems with an accent on security, governance, performance, and platform lifecycle management. Focus on leading end-to-end architecture, resolving complex CPQ and Billing issues, and translating business requirements into functional and technical designs.

Location: US, Austin Las Cimas; hybrid work

Salary: $120,000–$204,000 USD per year

What you will do

Translate complex business requirements into scalable functional and technical Salesforce solution designs.
Lead architecture and end-to-end implementation for Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Revenue, and adjacent business systems.
Design solutions using Flows, validation rules, approval processes, custom objects, and other declarative tools.
Assess current and future-state architectures, identify gaps, and recommend improvements based on platform best practices.
Ensure solutions meet Salesforce security, governance, scalability, performance, and lifecycle standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship while troubleshooting complex CPQ and Billing issues.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of Salesforce administration and platform development experience in enterprise environments.
5+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, or equivalent solutions.
Experience leading large-scale Salesforce initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, governance, release management, platform lifecycle management, business analysis, process mapping, and solution design.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.

Nice to have

Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce CPQ Specialist, CPQ and Billing Consultant Accredited Professional, or Platform Developer I/II certifications.
Experience with Conga document generation and quote template design.
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
