Salary: $143,000–$181,000 (base salary only)

What you will do
- Architect and implement database solutions ensuring availability, scalability, performance, recoverability, and security.
- Manage hardware resource allocation, resilience, and performance tuning; proactively monitor databases to minimize downtime.
- Provide metrics, trend analysis, and recommendations to management for resource management decisions.
- Troubleshoot SQL development issues and support Stored Procedures troubleshooting and performance improvements.
- Implement and release database changes on agreed timelines and costs; develop and follow standard operational procedures.
- Operate a 24x7 production environment, participate in incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis, and run DR exercises.
Requirements
- 7+ years as a Database Administrator in a financial services, banking, or investment banking environment.
- Proven expertise in Oracle databases in a multi-tenant environment.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Always-On.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure CI/CD pipeline and PowerShell scripting.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; ability to work with virtual teams and international stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Knowledge of ING business areas.
