What you will do

  • Install, configure, and maintain production and development MSSQL 2022 instances.
  • Perform performance monitoring, query optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Configure and maintain Always on Availability Groups and SSIS packages.
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
  • Harden SQL instances according to DISA, FISMA, and government STIGs.
  • Administer MongoDB and provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotating basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 12 years of experience (or 20 years of relevant experience).
  • Must be able to pass a government Tier 2 Moderate Background Investigation.
  • Must obtain a required Microsoft SQL Server certification within six months of hire.
  • Strong expertise in MSSQL administration and performance tuning.
  • Experience with database security, encryption, and government hardening standards.
  • Ability to work 1st shift onsite in Martinsburg, WV.
