TL;DR

Head of Legal (Healthcare/Compliance): Build and scale the in-house legal function for an AI-native medical group, covering commercial contracting, corporate matters, and healthcare regulatory compliance. Focus on designing scalable legal and compliance systems, owning key regulatory areas (including insurance billing), and balancing risk with fast execution across a complex, regulated environment.

hirify.global is building a fully-vertical, AI-native medical group to expand healthcare capacity.

What you will do

  • Partner across the company to answer legal questions and help the business move quickly and thoughtfully.
  • Lead commercial legal work, including customer, vendor, and partner agreements.
  • Build scalable legal and compliance processes that support growth without unnecessary friction.
  • Own key healthcare regulatory and compliance areas, including legal/compliance infrastructure for insurance billing operations.
  • Support privacy and information security work for customer needs, diligence processes, and future financings.
  • Support equity and debt financings and oversee core corporate legal responsibilities (employment, IP, governance, tax).

Requirements

  • Experience early in your career at a top-tier law firm, ideally in a corporate practice.
  • Deep healthcare experience (as counsel to healthtech companies or in-house at a healthcare/healthtech business).
  • Practical, business-minded approach with strong judgment to balance risk, speed, and priorities.
  • Ability to independently own complex legal matters end-to-end.
  • Experience managing outside counsel and driving workstreams forward with limited oversight.
  • Comfort building legal systems and processes from the ground up; experience as an early legal hire at a startup/scaling company is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with insurance billing, healthcare regulatory frameworks, and approval processes.
  • Experience helping a company grow through new markets, products, or operational complexity.
