What you will do
- Identify and re-design complex business processes and controls using process mining and data analysis.
- Translate business needs into actionable functional and non-functional requirements for technology teams.
- Collaborate with data analysts and technology teams to ensure data definitions and requirements align across business groups.
- Document redesigned processes, including standard, exception, and failure scenarios using tools like Microsoft Visio.
- Define and track process improvement metrics, including efficiency gains and cost reductions.
- Challenge unfeasible or technically costly requirements to ensure pragmatic and value-driven outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven track record in process mapping, process mining, and KPI baselining.
- Expertise in redesigning and automating business processes within the financial services industry.
- Strong hands-on data skills, including understanding of data architecture, ETL, and pipeline concepts.
- Ability to apply structured methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience translating complex technical data concepts into business-friendly language for senior stakeholders.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
