What you will do

• Develop and maintain custom Revit add-ins and automation tools using C#, .NET, and Python.
• Support HVAC engineers by creating BIM workflows for mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Implement AI solutions for HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and clash detection.
• Build data pipelines integrating Revit models with cloud platforms and engineering databases.
• Analyze design data to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and document digital engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Additional degree or significant coursework in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering required.
• Understanding of HVAC systems and building services engineering fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows.
• Programming experience in Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Must be able to work on-site in Toronto, Ontario.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of industry experience.
• Experience with Revit API, Dynamo, or Autodesk Platform Services.
• Understanding of generative AI or data analytics.
• Familiarity with HVAC design software like Carrier HAP or Trane TRACE 3D Plus.
