Principal Application Engineer (Signal Chain): Defining system-level validation strategies and developing reference platforms for next-generation signal chain semiconductor solutions with an accent on analog hardware, interface devices, and customer application support. What you will do
- Define system-level validation requirements and strategies for next-generation signal chain products.
- Provide expert technical support to Tier-1 customers and resolve complex application issues.
- Translate market trends and customer needs into technical specifications, benchmarks, and product differentiation.
- Design and develop evaluation boards, reference platforms, and reference designs for key applications.
- Participate in silicon validation, datasheet reviews, design-in activities, and identification of edge cases and performance limits.
- Deliver technical training and create application notes, technical documentation, demos, and industry-event collateral.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in application engineering, system design, or IC validation.
- Strong expertise in analog hardware and interface or voltage translator devices.
- Experience with high-speed board design, signal integrity, transmission lines, PCB design tools, oscilloscopes, and analyzers.
- Proficiency with ADS, SPICE, or similar simulation tools; experience with silicon validation under extreme and boundary conditions.
- Knowledge of I2C, I3C, and SPI communication interfaces, plus strong technical communication and mentoring skills.

- Experience with Python or LabVIEW scripting tools.
