Industrial Electrical Technician

Location: Amsterdam region, Netherlands; regular work at industrial locations

Company

Work with an experienced technical team delivering complex projects for industrial clients and energy companies across energy, industry, and electrical engineering.

What you will do

• Install and assemble electrical installations, including machinery, distribution panels, cable trays, and lighting systems.
• Connect and commission complete electrical installations.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in maintenance shutdowns and industrial modification projects.
• Identify technical improvements and contribute ideas to project teams.
• Determine required materials, tools, and equipment while following safety, quality, and NEN regulations.

Requirements

• MBO level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering; MBO level 4 is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and experience working independently.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• Valid VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Good knowledge of electrical installations and relevant safety regulations.
• Dutch language proficiency at least at B2 level and availability to work in the Amsterdam region.

Nice to have

• Experience instructing or coordinating subcontractors.
• Background in another technical industry with transferable electrical skills.
