What you will do

• Investigate, negotiate, and settle complex primary and excess casualty claims including liability and construction defect cases.
• Analyze insurance coverage, make determinations, and manage coverage litigation.
• Oversee litigation filed nationwide, appointing and directing defense counsel to ensure economical resolution.
• Communicate significant case developments to underwriting and management teams.
• Collaborate with internal business partners on vendor management and legal collections.
• Participate in training and development initiatives for claims examiners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of casualty claims or litigation experience required.
• US Work Authorization required (no visa sponsorship provided).
• College degree required.
• Strong comprehension of casualty and excess liability insurance coverage.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation and evaluate settlement values.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
