What you will do
- Originate and execute capital advisory and reinsurance solutions for insurers and reinsurers.
- Advise clients on risk transfer strategy, capital optimization, and access to alternative capital sources.
- Structure and negotiate reinsurance programs, including quota shares and collateralized solutions.
- Analyze underwriting data, portfolio performance, and market capacity to inform strategic recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurers, investors, and rating agencies.
Requirements
- Experience in reinsurance broking, capital advisory, insurance investment banking, or actuarial consulting.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance structures, insurance balance sheets, and risk transfer economics.
- Ability to interpret financial statements, loss trends, and model outputs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
