What you will do
- Design and ship production-grade backend services that integrate AI models (Claude, OpenAI, or open-source equivalents) into compliance workflows, including prompting, output parsing, and model behavior handling.
- Own service architecture end-to-end, covering reliability and scalability from day one.
- Automate AML/AFC compliance operations by translating compliance agent workflows into software (e.g., EDD automation and onboarding acceleration) with feedback from ops teams.
- Drive continuous improvement via production monitoring, regression flagging, and post-mortems.
- Shape the technical direction in a small team (architectural ownership and leading design discussions).
Requirements
- Location: full remote-friendly in France, Germany, Spain, or Italy
- Experience shipping systems where AI is a core functional component in production (Claude/OpenAI or open-source equivalents).
- Strong backend foundation with large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints; ideally Python experience.
- Ability to make independent architectural decisions and clearly articulate trade-offs.
- Comfort owning the full delivery cycle (scoping, prioritizing, shipping, and success metrics) without a dedicated PM layer.
