Customer Operations Partner, London (Software Startup)

Location: UK, hybrid with 3–5 days per week in the Central London office (EC2M 4YJ)

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of customer accounts from supplier onboarding through steady-state operations.
• Handle customer and supplier coordination across orders, deliveries, payments, pricing, terms, freight, and platform issues.
• Manage customer credit limits and clearance decisions while balancing risk and order continuity.
• Maintain compliance and certification documents and investigate the root causes of delivery and quality exceptions.
• Prompt, configure, and maintain AI agents for supplier document collection, delivery monitoring, invoice reconciliation, and other routine workflows.
• Monitor operational metrics and implement process improvements with product and tech.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience managing multiple stakeholders and processes in customer success, operations, account management, purchasing, logistics, or a similar role.
• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in day-to-day work.
• Ability to manage commercial conversations, negotiate prices and terms, and make or defend credit decisions.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, problem-solving, prioritisation, and clear communication.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, ambiguous environment and collaborate across departments.
• Availability to work hybrid from the UK office in Central London 3–5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building or configuring a workflow, prompt, script, or automation that improved personal productivity.
• Exposure to food, consumer goods, supply chain, or logistics industries.
