Financial Controller (MFX)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

What you will do

• Manage monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the assigned business scope.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Monitor operating expenses and headcount costs across Sales and Production activities.
• Perform cost and variance analyses for the Transport perimeter in Southern Europe.
• Partner with senior business leaders and Finance teams across Europe to support financial and operational decisions.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities, challenge business assumptions, and highlight financial risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in financial controlling, management control, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of financial closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with strong analytical and attention-to-detail capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced international environment.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Professional proficiency in French and/or Spanish.
• Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA and Google Workspace.
• Experience supporting Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, or Transport functions.
• Experience working in an international or multi-country environment.
