Senior Software Engineer (Gamedev)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from São Paulo (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex features across mobile and backend systems.
• Own technical decisions regarding architecture, performance, and scalability.
• Manage full production ownership, including monitoring, incident response, and iterating on live systems.
• Define and evolve team observability practices such as SLIs, alerting, and dashboards.
• Drive proactive codebase improvements and mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Shape feature direction in collaboration with product and design teams.

Requirements

• Solid experience developing production systems at scale.
• Strong background in software architecture and system design.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and incident response in live environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and elevate team performance.
• English: Working proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unity/C# for mobile development.
• Experience with Go and Kubernetes-based backends.
• Experience with AWS.
• Background in games or high-traffic consumer products.
