Staff Fullstack Engineer - Seller Center (all genders)

What you will do

• Design and deploy features for the Seller Center to improve the online retail experience.
• Manage product and order information using the SCAYLE platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineers to develop effective solutions.
• Improve application performance through SQL query optimization.
• Review code, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support for users.
• Explore AI-supported features that streamline workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or other lightweight JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or equivalent data-storage technologies.
• Strong focus on well-structured, efficient, maintainable code and continuous code-quality improvement.
• Experience working in an English-speaking environment.
• Fluent German comprehension at C1 level is required; spoken German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Excellent Python and extensive Django skills.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Open-source contributions.
• Experience with greenfield projects or startup environments and adapting products toward market fit.
