Structural Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop structural concepts and define requirements for satellites.
• Supervise and technically control sub-contractors for structural components.
• Perform structural sizing and conduct static, dynamic, and thermo-elastic analyses.
• Define and support structural verification tests, including specification, prediction, and evaluation.
• Provide technical support for system engineering within the structural analysis domain.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of static, dynamic, acoustic, and thermo-elastic analyses.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bremen, Germany.
• English: Fluent (C1) reading and writing required.
• Willingness to travel for business.

Nice to have

• Experience in the development of satellite structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as Hyperworks or NASTRAN.
