DSOC Infrastructure Consultant (Cybersecurity): Engineering and optimizing infrastructure components that enable security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response with an accent on platform resilience, scalability, and automation. Focus on implementing Infrastructure-as-Code, managing security tooling like SIEM/SOAR, and ensuring operational stability in highly regulated environments.
Location: Onsite in Belconnen, ACT, Australia. Must have Australian Citizenship and Mandatory AGSVA NV1 Clearance.

What you will do
- Design and maintain infrastructure for DSOC platforms and security tooling.
- Provide high-level technical support for servers, storage, networks, and cloud workloads.
- Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code to modernize environments.
- Collaborate with security teams to enable log ingestion and threat detection.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL frameworks.
- Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- Experience in infrastructure engineering supporting security or monitoring platforms.
- Strong knowledge of servers, storage, network, virtualization, and cloud environments.
- Experience integrating SIEM, SOAR, or EDR technologies.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise-level troubleshooting.
- Australian Citizenship and AGSVA NV1 Clearance are mandatory.
Nice to have
- Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, VMware, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience specifically in SOC or DSOC environments.
- Knowledge of observability and logging platforms.
- Background in government, defense, or critical infrastructure environments.
