What you will do

• Partner with internal teams to analyze applications and services to drive security improvements.
• Design, develop, and evaluate new security controls for a rapidly growing business.
• Perform incident response, threat hunting, and implement custom detection strategies.
• Analyze data from EDR, authentication, and firewalls to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
• Manage cybersecurity infrastructure projects and conduct system assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collect and preserve digital forensic evidence using advanced investigative techniques.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or incident response within a tech company.
• In-depth experience with at least one major cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of software development tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comprehensive understanding of attacker tools, detection techniques, and incident response.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical security concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, or CEH.
• Experience with Splunk and other security monitoring tools.
• DevOps/SRE experience with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Kotlin.
• Experience with GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Okta, or GSuite.
